Current Positions Available

Department: Installation
Position Type: Full Time

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist our installation crew leaders in performing installations of our fireplace products. Our ideal candidate has experience in construction and working with their hands. Although experience in the hearth industry is preferred, it is not required because they will be working under the direction of an NFI Certified installation crew leader.

Duties may be described as but are not limited to:

• Assisting installation crew leader with installations

• Loading and organizing the work trucks with products

• Cleaning up job sites

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Must have experience in construction and working with your hands

• Ability to lift heavy products to load work trucks and unload at a job site

• Good communication skills

• Maintains a positive attitude towards work and working as a team

• Assembling fireplace pipe/venting under the direction of the installation crew leader

Department: Service Position Type: Full Time Position Overview: The primary responsibility for this position is to perform a safe and professional installation of our fireplace products and custom carpentry. Our installation crew leaders use their critical thinking abilities and general construction experience to reference technical specifications required by our different fireplace systems. This position requires specialized knowledge of gas burning and wood burning hearth systems, their technical requirements, and all installation nuances related to venting/chimney installations and the safe operation of the fireplace. Duties may be described as but are not limited to: • Installing fireplaces • Assembling venting / chimney components • Reading & understanding installation manuals & technical safety data • Ensuring the safety of the installation crew helper • Performing & checking gas connections • Installing mantels, marble, tile, custom carpentry & cabinetry • Attending ongoing training and required certifications Required knowledge, skills and abilities: • Must have general construction experience • Excellent communication / organizational skills • Knowledge of rough framing & finish carpentry • Understanding of gas line connections / fittings • Valid drivers license • Professional, courteous and good customer service skills • Maintains a positive attitude towards work and working as a team Click Here to Apply
